Postponing Housework!!

Good Morning! The weekend is almost here! I am sitting here working on finishing my 3rd cup of coffee. I have been up since early this morning getting my hubby's stuff together so he can make another OTR trip to Richmond, Va. for a Friday morning delivery. 

My goal for the day is to kick in gear and clean my house. It's not extremely messy, however; there are some things that need to be done. I know to do them I have to remove myself from the computer! I just wanted to get a post in for you all because there has been several times I haven't posted in quite a long time.

Movies, Coffee & Laziness..Oh My!

Hey Ya'll! I know it's late, but I am still wide awake, and yes, I'm still drinking coffee! I don't sleep good at night while my hubby is away driving over the road, so I often find myself up very late at night. 
Today has been a slow day for me. I've just been relaxing and watching movies, as well as playing a few games on facebook. I know, that probably sounds boring to most, but I enjoy watching movies and TV shows. I am patiently waiting for the new season of a few shows such as, Chicago Fire, Grey's Anatomy,and The Vampire Diaries, just to name a few! I bet it seems like that's all I do is watch shows, but I assure you it's not! I also clean house, do the laundry (which can be stressful when you think the dryers eats all the matches to your socks!) I also cook and all the other hously duties that are a daily chore! 
However; I will admit, today I have been kinda lazy! But it's ok, everyone has a lazy day every now and then, right? (Well, atleast I hope so!)

Photo's..Fun..and a nap!

Good Evening! Has everyone filled their coffee quota today? surprisingly enough I think I have only had about 3 cups today, which is unusual for me! However; today has been kinda busy for me, but its been a good kinda busy!

My grandbaby, Kari came over today and me, her and my daughter went to have pictures taken. My daughter is currently pregnant with her second child and we had fun with all the photos today. Kari, remind you is age 4 and she did very well today! She looked so pretty in her outfit and she posed really well! I am excited to see how well the photos came out!

After the pictures we went to my dad's house for a bit, then went to pick up my hubby who came in off the road after delivering in Kentucky! I'm excited he is in on a Monday and gets to spend the night, that is a very rare occasion! 

Now it's down time and I am sipping on coffee, listening to the hum of the fan while the hubby takes a well deserved nap!

Coffee, Creamer & Work!

Good Friday Morning! I begin this post while starting my second cup of coffee, so I am somewhat awake and ready to type..lol.. although, I discovered this morning that I'm very low on creamer! I see a trip to the store coming on very soon!

I had to do some errands in town yesterday. The first being going with my daughter to the baby doctor. Her due date is October 19th, so we visit the doctor every two weeks! They tried to do a 4D ultrasound yesterday, but the baby was faced the wrong way and we couldn't get any images of her face :( I guess she wants it to be a surprise when she arrives. I am so excited, this will be grandbaby #4 for me! I love all my grandbabies, they are so precious and growing up so quickly.

In other news, I am working this weekend! My job causes for me to only work on the weekends, which is great cause I have all week free!

How's your Summer?

It's me again! Once more, it has been a while since I have posted. I truly apologize to those of you who read my blog. I have been very busy lately and haven't found the time to write, but I promise to do my best to keep this blog up and running with frequent posts!

How has everyone been? Are you still coffee o' holics like myself? How has everyone's Summer? Have you been to the lake, beach or pool alot this season? I have only been swimming twice this Summer, I have been busy running my business, Private Penny & the Candy Store! Hopefully I will get a few more chances to hit the pool before Summer is over!

I promise I will write more later, right now I have to run to town for an appointment!

Weekend, Reunion & Over the Road!

Good Thursday Morning! Is everyone excited for the weekend? I know I am, I will be attending a family reunion. I have only been to one other reunion and it was quite interesting. I'm looking forward to great company, great food and memories to last a lifetime. 

In other news..my son came over last night and stayed til this morning. It's always good to see him, I am so glad he moved back closer to home, it gives me a chance to see him more often. It's his birthday this month, I can't believe he is going to be 22 years old! My daughter's birthday is next month and she is going to be 21! My kids are making me feel so old! (LOL).

Oh, and my hubby got to come home last night and stay as well. For those of you who might not know, he is an OTR truck driver and he is away from home alot. At the moment he is still asleep and I don't want to wake him because I know he needs his rest. He has to leave again this evening, but it's just a short 300 mile run so he should be back for the reunion on Saturday.

I know my post seems all over the place this morning, I just have a lot of things bouncing around in my head at different times...lol...

Summer Heat: The Beach or Lake?

Good Afternoon! Has everyone noticed that the weather is actually beginning to feel like summer? i am so excited! I really want to put on my bathing suit and hit the lake! I'm sure a lot of you have already done so, but as for me, I haven't had the chance to dip my toes in the water just yet. (But, believe me, it's gonna happen, and soon!)

I have been busy running a booth at our local flea market. This has become a part time job for me and it's something I enjoy doing! I have made a little money in the short time I have been doing this. I know it will not make me a millionaire, but hey, every little bit helps, right!

What are y'alls plans for this summer? Will y'all be at the lake or beach soaking up the sun and enjoying the water? I miss going to the beach. I am from Florida and my mom and I used to go to the beach all the time! We used to lay out on our beach chairs and tan for a while, then we would jump in the water to cool off. (Not to mention visit the ice cream vender on the beach and purchase a frozen snickers bar!)
