Good Tuesday morning! Is everyone awake and have their coffee in hand? I know I do! I don't even think about starting the day until I have at least two cups finished and the contents running through my veins. Most of the time I don't even like to be spoken to until I have finished my first cup! I know that may seen a little mean, but I just want to wake up and enjoy my coffee before I have to deal with a lot of talking and other random noises.
What is everyone's plans for today? Do you have to work or do you have the day off? I assume the most of you are working as it is Tuesday and you are counting the days until the weekend so you can put your work behind you and relax, that is if you don't have a job that requires you to work on Saturday or Sunday.

Good morning my fellow coffee o' holics! I woke up to a rainy Monday morning so the first thing I did was grunt and then head downstairs for a cup of coffee. I swear I just can't seem to function at all until I get at least one full cup. I've heard them say April showers bring May flowers..well I sure hope so, because we have had enough rain here in West Tennessee.
I have to get motivated today there is a few things I need to get done, but this rainy weather is causing me to procrastinate. Come on coffee, kick in and boost my energy!!

Once again this post is a little late! I apologize for this post not being available this morning. So, how has everyone's Sunday been? Are you just relaxing taking in the day or busy working? As for me, I am here sitting at the computer drinking coffee!
I was up late last night because my 4 year old grandbaby and my son spent the night and she sat up and watched the movie Frozen and Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 2. So, it was after 1:30 a.m. before we were settled down and calling it a night. I know I am an adult, but I really enjoyed those animated movies. They were pretty interesting and keep your attention with the catchy songs and music. Ok, enough about the animated movies, after all I said I was an adult!
With Monday sneaking it's head around the corner, I know a lot of you are dreading it. But when you wake up in the morning, just fix you a fresh cup of coffee and take on the day!

Wow it's early! I have only had a few hours sleep, but that's okay because I was awaken with a surprise! You see, my son's dog, Lucy that we have been taking care of went missing a little over a week ago. We have searched the streets and the animal shelter with no luck. This morning my hubby went to the store while I was sleeping and he woke me up and said he had a surprise for me. When I opened my eyes I seen Lucy!! She hopped up in the bed with me and buried herself under the covers and now she is asleep and literally past out snoring!
Apparently when my hubby was driving back home from the store he turned on our road and the headlights shined on the yard of a neighbor that lives just down the street and that's when he noticed Lucy standing at the neighbors front door. I feel whoever had her kept her inside because Lucy would of come home before now. Also, she has been an outside dog and she had smelled really bad before she went missing. She now smells freshly bathed and she isn't hungry or thirsty because she didn't want any food or water, she just jumped on the bed and went to sleep. Well, as of this moment Lucy will be a forever indoor pet! I do not want to loose her again.
Another surprise I got this morning is when my hubby woke me up to tell me about Lucy he also handed me fresh biscuits & gravy with a delicious Monster Java Mean Bean!! MMmmm...what a breakfast!!!

Good Thursday Morning! Are you enjoying your coffee as you get your day started? I am currently on my second cup and counting! It's suppose to be a stormy day here in West Tennessee, so I feel several cups of hot, fresh coffee coming on today.
When I logged on this morning I found news of the Fort Hood shooting in Texas yesterday. What a sad string of events that unfolded there on their Military base. I send prayers and heartfelt concern for everyone involved. I pray for peace for all and wish them comfort as they try to heal from this horrible tragedy.
My son just returned from Afghanistan a few months ago and I know the whole entire time he was overseas I was praying for him to come home safely. Before he was sent on deployment I never really understood what families of deployed soldiers went though, now I know first hand and it is not easy. I respect every single person in the Military and their family members and I am proud of everything they do to keep this country safe.

Good morning everyone! It is officially the middle of the week, only a few more days until it's time to relax, sleep in and enjoy some time off. My day is going to be filled with several tasks. I plan on having a yard sale this weekend, which means I have a lot of items to rummage though and sort out! I have so many things stored away, I hope I can go though it all before the weekend. I should have started a few days ago, but yes I'll admit it, I have been procrastinating!
According to our meteorologist we are supposed to have some strong storms here tonight. Oh, how I dislike storms! When I hear thunder I just want to run and climb in bed and hide! I know that seems a little childish, but at least I admit it..lol The last few days have been beautiful here, sunny and in the high 70's, now a storm has to be arriving and ruin this amazing weather we are finally getting.
Well, I know this is a little short, but as mentioned earlier I have a yard sale to plan. I will try to post again this evening. I want to say thank you to everyone who clicks and reads my ramblings! Feel free to leave comments, I enjoy reading them. I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!!!!
Good evening everyone! In my last post I mentioned that my friend fell and shattered her knee, broke her ankle as well as another bone in her right leg. I just wanted to give ya'll an update:
She had a 2 1/2 hour surgery this morning and everything went well. She is being monitored for at least 24 hours then she will be moved back to a regular room.
In other news of the day, my hubby and I had lunch with our son this afternoon and I spent a bit with my wonderful daughter as well as getting to see all my grandbabies today! I'd say today was a pretty great day! I will post more in the morning, it is getting late here and I will be turning in shortly...nite everyone!
