Hello everyone! I have been silent on here for some time. We have been in the middle of moving and just recently gotten our internet back up and running. I will be posting on a regular basis now, I apologize to those who read my posts.
I'm sure everyone knows that moving takes time, and when you have to have your internet transferred, you have to wait on the company. It sucks! However; I hope ya'll have had a great few weeks! I know I have missed posting and reading comments, so be assured, I am back!

Good Sunday morning to all the coffee drinker's out there. Today I woke up to sunshine! The past few days have been awakened to rain and cloudiness. So far I am on my second cup and counting, the sunshine has made my morning, I feel as if I have a little pep in my step.

It's Friday!!! T.G.I.F! I selected this picture of coffee full of sunshine because it is a wet and rainy day here in West Tennessee and I wanted a little bit of brightness! Fixing my morning cup, I glanced out the window and seen my yard is wet and full of mud! I have errands to run later, but you can be sure I am not wearing my flip flops. I can't stand that feeling of mud squishing between my toes! (So today, boots it is!)
Next weekend is my daughter's birthday weekend! I hope it is full of happiness and sunshine. Hopefully the wet weather will take a break for a few days. We are planning a bonfire, so if it rains, our plans will go down the drain.
What are your favorite things to do around a bonfire? Sitting and talking with friends, roasting marshmallows, possible an alcoholic beverage or two? If alcohol is involved, please be safe, things can get dangerous!

Good Tuesday morning! I see everyone made it past the Dreadful Monday. I slept in this morning, however; I still feel like a walking zombie. I'm still on my first cup of coffee and my hubby just informed me that I have a serious case of bed head!
Oh well, I can deal with it. I know I need to get motivated, but I just can't bring myself to get up and move. I blame it on all the rain we got last night, along with a rainy morning. When it's wet and gloomy outside, I just wanna stay in my PJ's and hang out around the house.
On another subject, I did a lot of cleaning yesterday, along with mopping all the floors, but now my living room looks as if a toy factory exploded! Lol, it's all good though, two of my grandbabies are here, and if they are playing and enjoying themselves, that's all that matters. I will clean the house back up when they are finished.

Hello All! It's after midnight and I am still up and drinking coffee! My daughter and I have been watching the new show, "Rising Star." It's a pretty good show, but I like the show, "The Voice" a whole lot better!
What have all of you been up too this weekend? I've gotten to see all my grandbabies and have a good time with family and friends. I really want to go swimming! I love the water and going to the lake. I've only been swimming once this summer and I want to go more often, but things keep coming up that prevents me from doing so.
Tomorrow is Monday!! Are you all rested and ready for the work week? I know everyone says Monday's suck, but look at it this way, it's one day closer to the next weekend!

Good evening everyone! I have had a full day! My hubby and I went to lunch with my daughter & my son's girlfriend at Kokoko's Diner. We all enjoyed a good cheeseburger & fries. I then came home and worked on my story I have been writing.
Tonight we went to my hubby's bosses house for a cookout and more fireworks! I had a great time. The fireworks were awesome and I got so stuffed on the amazing food!
It's now time for me to work on my story again, I'm really excited about this...I hope something good comes from writing!

Good morning! It is currently 2:40 a.m. and I have been home from a trip with my hubby on the big truck, freshly showered and coffee induced. I wanted to write a quick post to everyone before I called it a night (or should I say morning!) and go to bed.
My hubby has to leave back out in just a few, but I am staying home. The run he has to make is not too long so he will be back sometime in the afternoon, then we can begin the weekend! It was good to go on a trip, but returning home I was faced with my house a little disheveled, so now when I finish getting me some sleep, I have the task of house cleaning. Like I said before, housework is never done...it's always an on going process. But, it can wait...I'm going nitey nite...Sweet dreams...
