Catching Up...A Little at a Time
Hello Everyone! I know, I haven't posted in quite some time. To be honest, I don't have an excuse for not posting lately, but I do apologize to those who read my blog for not adding anything new. Since it has been a while, I will catch those of you who are interested up on how things have been going.
As usual, I am still addicted to my coffee! (I don't think that will ever change :) While I have been away, i had decided to open a store. I tried my hand at selling women's clothing, handbags, jewelry and more. I had rented a store building and within just a few weeks I had began getting sick. Come to find out, this building had black mold throughout the walls. I contacted the building owner and informed her of the black mold and I moved out as quick as possible! Rather than try to rent another store building, my hubby and I decided to rent an inside booth at our local flea market. Turns out that is the best thing we could have done! I am really enjoying working there on the weekends and I am having fun meeting new people!
In other news... My beautiful grandbabies are growing up healthy and happy! They are so precious to me ♥
I had intended on this post being a long one, but we are beginning to get a storm here with a lot of thunder and lightening and I don't like being on the computer during storms. I will begin posting more often. Remember, I love keeping in touch with everyone! Feel free to leave me your comments!
Until Next Time ♥

Nashville, Tennessee: The Place to Be!
Nashville, Tennessee
is widely known as the country music capital! Filled with record labels,
recording studios and a variety of shops on Broadway, Nashville
is always the life of the party all through the year.
With the winter season upon us, there is still numerous
activities to take part in while visiting. So, tighten up your boot straps and
zip up your coat and lets take a look at a few places that are great to visit
during the winter months.
The Grand Ole Opry- This historical landmark
is the home of country music. Started in 1925 on radio, this establishment has
became the number one place in Nashville.
With so many legends playing on the famous stage from Johnny Cash to Carrie
Underwood, the Opry holds so many special moments in history from 1925 to
present.
Backstage tours are available to those seeking to take a
walk down memory lane of all the musical greats. The Opry offers three types
of tours, the first being the Daytime
tour. In addition, there is the Post-Show tour and the VIP Tour. Visit the
Grand Ole Opry and enjoy a tour and be sure to catch a show while your in the
house of country music.
Opry Mills- Having personally visited this
location, this is the perfect place to purchase souvenirs from your trip, as
well as dine on some great food. Also housed in Opry Mills is an IMAX theater,
and for all those arcade lovers out there, there's a Dave & Buster's.
The Adventure
Science Center-
This educational center offers 44,000 square feet of space related
exhibits. Children of all ages can enjoy state-of-the-art shows and events
about space. With a lot of hands on activities, the science center is a great
stop on your tour of Nashville, as
well as a great learning experience for all that visit.
Broadway- For those of you who are not afraid
to brave the cold temperatures, walking Broadway is a trip down country music
lane. Both sides of the street is filled with gift shops, restaurants, Bars and
more. While browsing, the air is filled with music, both live and on radio. If
you find yourself walking Broadway, be sure to bring your camera, there is so
much to see and so many things to photograph!
What are you waiting for? Plan your trip to Nashville
now. With so much to see and do, I'm sure you will be planning a second trip
for the summer months! Happy Touring!

Coffee, Visiting & Bill Paying...
Good Evening Everyone! Today has been an eventful day for me. This morning was great cause my hubby watched my grandbaby so I could sleep in. I haven't been able to sleep good lately, so sleeping in was wonderful!
After having a few cups of coffee and getting dressed I went to visit a sick friend of mine that I haven't been able to see in a while. She has spent the last six weeks in the hospital and was finally able to return home last night.
Later this afternoon, we all loaded up and went to town to pay bills. Agh, I really dislike paying bills, but it is what it is :(
Now I am sitting home at my kitchen table on my hubby's laptop while my grandbaby watches Lilo & Stitch. I think this is such a cute cartoon, and Stitch is my favorite character. I remember when my kids were little they used to watch this cartoon.
So, how was everyone else's Saturday afternoon? Let me know how ya"ll are doing, I love to hear everyone"s comments!

Move Over Turkey...Bring on the Sweet Treats!
Good Evening Everyone! With Thanksgiving just a few days away I felt it would be a good time to post some delicious sweet treat ideas for the holiday. Some of these I have personally tried, however; there are a few that I haven't had the pleasure of tasting. Top off your turkey dinner with something mouth-watering before you call it a day and hit the bed for an afternoon nap!
PUMPKIN PIE- This is my personal favorite. As mentioned in other posts, just about anything pumpkin wins with me. I like to add a dollop of cool whip on top of my slice, just another way to sweeten the tasty treat!
PECAN PIE- This happens to be my daughter's favorite dessert on Thanksgiving. This year she has actually requested a whole pie be made just for her. I have to say, I think it is quite amazing myself!
BANANA PUDDING- Oh, the banana pudding! In my home, this is my hubby's top favorite, he considers it a must have, especially on Thanksgiving!
CHEESE CAKE- You can't go wrong with this dessert! Cheese cake is amazing and there are my flavors of this dessert, so I'm sure there is one out there everyone can enjoy!
APPLE PIE- The good ole' American apple pie! I love apple pie...that's all I have to say about that!!
These are just a few of the desserts that is made especially for the Thanksgiving season. Be sure to save room to enjoy these amazingly delicious treats to top off your family dinner...
Until Next Time....♥ HAPPY THANKSGIVING♥

Just About Anything Pumpkin Spice!
Good Morning! Once again I find myself up and wake after 1 O'clock a.m. This is nothing new for me lately, I have been having a horrible time sleeping. Although I find it quiet and peaceful at this time, I would much rather be sleeping, but once again, this is not the case.
As you can tell by the picture I posted above, I have pumpkin spice on my mind. I absolutely love just about anything pumpkin spice, especially pumpkin spice cappuccino! Our local convenience store only seems to sell it in October and November, but I could drink it all year long!
Is everyone gearing up for Thanksgiving next week? I know I am. I love this holiday, it's a great time for family, friends and lots of good food! Even though there is a lot of cooking involved with Thanksgiving, it is well worth the work put into the feast! I bet you could guess my favorite dessert...pumpkin pie, of course!
I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoys the company and great food!
Until next time....♥
