Coffee in Other Languages!

Good Wednesday Evening Everyone! I was thinking, with millions of people all over the world drinking coffee, it would be cool to see how they say the word. I know this is random, but thought it would be interesting! So here we go, here is the word "COFFEE" in a few different languages...

  •  Chinese (Cantonese): ga feh / Chinese (Mandarin): kafei
  • Danish: kaffe (pronounced kah-FEY)
  • Filipino/Tagalog: kape
  • French: cafe'
  • German: der Kaffee (pronounced kah-FEE; masculine; the “K” is capitalized because all German nouns are capitalized)
  • Greek: kafés (pronounced ka-FACE)
  • Hawaiian: kope
  • Hungarian: kavé (pronounced KAH-vey)
  • Irish: caife
  • Italian: caffe (pronounced KA-fee)
  • Japanese: koohii
  • Korean: keopi or ko-pyi
Well, there ya go...other ways to say coffee in a few different languages. Although I can't pronouns some of these it's still interesting to learn another language.

Hope ya'll have an amazing Wednesday!!!
Until next time... ♥♥
